Girl Scouts of Orange County: Dreams To Reality: Career Exploration and Inspiration
Event is designed to expose girls to potential careers via keynote and multiple small group discussions. Girls will also get exposure to hands-on budgeting via games, a glimpse into University life, information on resume building and networking and interviewing skills. They are expecting 300-500 girls from 8th-12th grades.
AstraFemina speaker role: Requesting a keynote speaker to provide opening remarks and share career journey to the entire group. Would also like speaker to participate in small group panel discussion focusing more on motivation, learning path and a "day in the life" glimpse into career. NOTE: Keynote speech time is still TBD.
