NC Girl Scout event: The Great American Eclipse 4/8/2024
As the summit event at the end of a 3-day camping event focused on space science, the 4/8/24 activities will include interacting in person with the invited speaker, and of course eclipse viewing. There is also a one-day attendance option for the Girl Scouts.
(Note from AstraFemina: location appears to be in the 80% eclipse coverage zone, for several minutes in the afternoon)
Speaker roles: Keynote speech, Q&A for girls about women in aeronautics and/or space science, pictures w/girls
300-500 girls: Daisy (grades K-1), Brownie (grades 2-3), Junior (grades 4-5), Cadette (grades 6-8), Senior (grades 9-10), Ambassador (grades 11-12)
