Spooky Science for Girl Scouts
This is a virtual event in the Central Time Zone.
For our October Patch Program girls will participate in several spooky themed engineering and science experiments, such as building bone bridges, flying tea bag ghosts, creating pumpkin lava lamps and brewing glowing tonic water. We are looking to include a virtual live event with a guest speaker who is tied to engineering/science that could share about their career and how the activities we are doing tie into real world occupations.
We would like the speaker to do a demonstration of some type of spooky science experiment that we can provide. Then talk about her career and how STEM activities like the ones we are doing translate to occupations in the real world as well as motivate girls to be interested in STEM fields.
Keynote Speaker, Q&A with Girls, Hands-On Activity (Consider virtual demonstrations as Hands-On)
