Hosted by GirlSpring, this event brings together women working across a variety of STEM fields to share their experiences, insights, and career journeys. Girls in grades 6–12 will have the opportunity to hear directly from professionals and explore the many paths available in STEM careers. This event is part of GirlSpring’s Wonder Women series, which highlights female leaders and role models to help girls imagine themselves in future careers that shape our world.

The program will begin with a panel discussion featuring women in STEM, followed by a Q&A session and interactive breakout opportunities where students can engage more directly with speakers and learn about different career paths. Fields represented may include engineering, IT, web development, medicine, nuclear science, accounting, and more.

AstraFemina Speaker Role: The event will include a panel discussion featuring up to six women from a variety of STEM backgrounds. The panel will take place from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by a 15-minute audience Q&A session. A teen moderator from the GirlSpring leadership group will guide the discussion with questions about each panelist’s background, how they discovered their passion for STEM, challenges and opportunities they have experienced as women in STEM, work-life balance, and advice for girls interested in pursuing STEM in college and beyond. Panelists will receive the discussion questions one week prior to the event for review.
